Most shops in Houston are set up either for pickups or for Class 8 — a 16 to 26 foot straight truck falls between the two and ends up waiting. Do you work on box trucks, or only on semi trucks?▼
We work on both. A box truck — straight truck, cutaway or 26 footer — goes through the same bay and the same equipment as a tractor.
That matters because a box truck is usually turned away twice: the pickup shop says it is too heavy and the Class 8 shop says it is too small. We size the job to the unit, not the other way around.

Why does my box truck eat front tires?▼
On a straight truck it is almost always one of three things, and they compound:
Alignment. Delivery routes mean curbs, driveways and potholes at low speed. That knocks the front end out far more often than highway miles do.
Suspension. Worn bushings, sagged leaf springs or tired shocks let the axle move under braking, so the tire scrubs instead of rolling.
Load and pressure. A box truck is often loaded to the rear or run at highway pressure while doing stop and go. Both show up as shoulder or cupped wear.
Replacing tires without correcting the cause reproduces the same wear on the new set.
How long does a box truck service take and what are your hours?▼
A routine oil and filter service or a brake inspection is usually same day. Alignment and suspension work depends on what the inspection finds — we tell you before starting, not after.
